7 months old

HOW DID WE GET HERE. People, if you think time goes by quickly now, just have a baby. This shit starts spiraling out of control.

Lucy, I know I am starting to sound like a broken record, but you change and grow and amaze me at such a fast pace that I can't even keep up with telling you how much you change and grow and amaze me. This particular month though, there have been some significant milestones. YOU TAKE A BOTTLE. HURRAY!!! YOU CAN SAY MAMA AND DADA! This makes us die. You sleep through the night. You love all of your toys, and with your INSANE curiosity, you can figure them all out, and new ways of playing with them. You can roll, sit up, and scoot (you'll be crawling any day now). You love to hug. You love to plant big drooly kisses on our faces. You are the ultimate cuddle bug. You are the recipient of ridiculous love.

So there we were, me and your dad, living in our urban apartment thinking we were all cool and cold as ice, you know. But since you have come around, we've been filled with love and sentiment and we're cheesy as hell.  Like right now for example, it's Saturday night.  I am here on the computer with a glass of wine and Daddy is sitting on the floor with you, teaching you how to roll your heart-covered ball back and forth.  We've got some great music playing and some great food on the stove.   It's a perfect night!  And we would never trade a single moment.

We love you to smithereens, little Louie Bear!  Happy 7 month birthday!

ALSO, remember when you would just prop the "i am xxx months old today" sign in front of lucy, and now she can HOLD IT?!? wow.

Hahah yes, she can hold it, but as we learned today, she can also EAT IT. Like chew and swallow and have marker all over her lips.

I can eat her up, I cannot wait to Lucy sit for her next weekend....

She just keeps getting cuter and cuter. I LOVE her hair! We've got to have our playdate soon. Bryden isn't really as fun, Lucy will probably think she's lame cause she doesn't do much more than kick her legs. But maybe once Bryden sees Lucy moving and grabbing she'll get her act together!
