INTRODUCING: the teeny little boy that has already changed the world for a certain Mama, Daddy, and very excited soon-to-be big sister...
HOLY MACKEREL THAT'S A BABY! With a perfect little profile, just like his big sis. As of this week, he is about the length of a banana, "crown to rump" as they say. (My brain needs to catch up with this! In my head, I just found out I'm preg and he's a tiny little bean. But no sir.)
Also, did I mention? Boy boy BOY boy BOY boy BOYYYYYY!
We asked Lucy what we should name him, and first she said "Sydney", her (female) cousin. But Syndey's name is Sydney! Can you pick another name? "Uncle Joe". Hmm, Lu, you need to pick a NEW name that's not someone else's name. "How about Monkey Water!" So that is what we have been calling him. (Kind of funny when Lucy tells strangers that Mama has Monkey Water in her belly.) We have already broken the news that Monkey Water is the IN-BELLY name, and when he's born he'll have a new name. We have not told her what her in-belly name was...
Little Boy Babe - You have already changed our lives and we can't wait until you are here and bowl us over with your own unique personality and sweetness. We can only hope we give you the same sweetness and joy that we are already kicking up our heels to every day for you. Little Man, lots of love is coming your way. We love you to smithereens.
