Halloween!
I hope everyone had a great Halloween!
I know a lot of people hate it, but I have always loved Halloween. I have so many great memories of my whole family planning costumes, and most of mine were made by either my mom (sewn, like when I was Minnie Mouse) or my dad (like when I was a glasses/braces rabbit jumping out of a giant cardboard hat. Sorry, no picture. I was not cool.)
And then I got older and thought I had not yet embarrassed myself enough.
Somehow though, Halloween is even more fun with this little girl I have here.
Last year Lucy was the cutest little unknowing bumblebee, completely clueless that this day might be any different from any other. This year however, she was fully aware of her costume and spent the whole day walking around with an over-exaggerated waddle saying "wa- wa- wa-" (waddle, waddle). My only regret is that I didn't have a little stuffed sardine for her to carry around.
We went with penguin because she is absolutely scream-at-the-top-of-her-lungs enamored by the penguins at the Aquarium.
